Creation

God created the world and everything in it. Man was God's most special creation. He designed for us to have a relationship with Him that would glorify Him. It was perfect. This is a picture of what scientists believe the earth looked like (Pangea) before it was divided (Gen 10:25).

Fall of Man

Adam and Eve thought they were greater than their Creator. They disobeyed God by eating from a tree God told them specifically not to. From this point on, mankind struggles to be content because they try to find purpose in life apart from their Creator . The Fall of Man led to hundreds of years of mankind unable to find their own salvation from their brokenness.

The King

Jesus, the one true King, made a way for us to be whole again by paying the price for us in love on the cross. A crown of thorns (John 19:2-5; Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17) is what soldiers forced the Son of Man to wear as they mocked Him, which was right before His excruciating death on the cross and miraculous resurrection from the dead. Jesus did this because He loves us and obeyed God the Father. Now, any person who recognizes their brokenness from sin, believes that Jesus paid the price for their sins, and repents from their sinful ways can truly find ultimate contentment and purpose in Jesus Christ.

Potter & Vine

After we are saved from our sins, our story isn't over yet. God is working on, through, and with us as the Potter and sustaining us as the Vine.

Following a person's decision to commit their life to God, they begin a process called sanctification. This is where Christians are becoming more like Christ. The Bible refers to God as our potter, who is constantly molding and forming us.

God [the Son] is also the True Vine. From the beginning of time, mankind has been dependent on God. He sustains life. When a person comes to this conclusion, he or she can find true satisfaction and peace in Him.

Reunited

A Christian's death is the beginning of their new life with God. This picture is of hands like those in Michelangelo's Creation of Adam. The end of a Christian's life is just like the Beginning when humans were united with God. Heaven is where we, who have committed our earthly life to Jesus, are able to find complete freedom from brokenness to live the way God originally designed us.
