Reunited

Glorification

"To obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." 1 Peter 1:4-5

"And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." Philippians 3:20-21

A Christian's death is the beginning of their new life with God. This picture is of hands like those in Michelangelo's Creation of Adam. The end of a Christian's life is just like the Beginning when humans were united with God. Heaven is where we, who have committed our earthly life to Jesus, are able to find complete freedom from brokenness to live the way God originally designed us.
